Exw Gialos Firas

Limenas is located on the Eastern side of Santorini. Administratively, it belongs to the Municipal Unit of Thira, Municipality of Thira, Regional Unit of Thira, South Aegean Region.

The Limeniskos Exo Gialos is of local importance for the mooring of fishing boats of local residents and visitors.

The wharf includes:

-Two breakwaters - arms 145m and 77m long each

-An 11m long pier.

-A boat launch and launch ramp

- Connecting area of approximately 320m2

-Basin A with a surface area of approximately 7,780m2 with the possibility of mooring a number of fishing boats

The total length of the piers and wharves along the entire length of the coast is approximately 405m.

There are no industrial or other craft activities near the Port. The airport is 2.15km S-SE and Fira about 2.45km West. The Port of Athens is located at a distance of 5.3 km SW, while at a distance of 1.45 km N-NW is the port of Vourvoulos. The operation of the port clearly has a positive impact on a significant number of other economic activities.

What should be noted is its usefulness for the generally infested area of eastern Thera.
