The village is built in and around the castle walls and is worth a stroll to see the mansions, churches, try local flavors in the restaurants and traditional cafes, and buy local products at the Santorini Cooperatives Union. At the top is the Monastery of Prophet Ilias where a church museum operates, while the panoramic view is unique.
